Mine didn't. It might have had something to do with the fact I removed the battery? I don't know mechanical stuff, can one of you techno-smartie guys help me? But seriously now, it was a sad day because today I threw in the towel, old man winter won with the recent snowfall of two feet or so. By the time all the plowed-up snow melts that's blocking access to my storage bay (where the car resides), the battery wouldn't have lasted, so I took it out and I'll just have to wait for spring proper to arrive.

Of course it started, it always starts. Its a Honda. That its the most fun and exciting car I've ever owned doesn't take away from its quality heritage.

Bet it'll start tomorrow too. And the day after.

I was reading this thread.

I started to panic! I have not driven my car for 2 months. It has been sitting in the garage with no battery charger, no full tank of gas, the oil was changed over 1500 miles ago(!) and it has been very cold outside! In my panic, I ran down stairs, grabbed my shoes, found the key to the car, almost knocked down the door running out into the garage and ran up to my S.

I stopped, paused, looked her over real well and took a deep breath. I slowly reached for the door handle, gently lifted it and was greeted with that lovely solid click of the door opening. I looked down at my beautiful black leather seats that have no signs of wear and gently slid into the car. Gently, I inserted the key into the ignition and turned it. THE DAMN CAR DIDN'T START!

Oh... I guess I have been driving the beater truck too much... Forgot the start button. When I pushed the button the car started in less than 3 cranks. Its warming up while we speak. The roads are clear, snow is melted, sun is out. I think I am gonna go drive the hell out of it for a bit before work.

God, I love this car!
I just got back from my little drive. The roads were not as clear as I had thought, but that's ok.
I did not spin out because the tires were not meant to be used in this cold weather.
I did not notice any ticking noises from the engine.
I had to turn the radio down a bit so I could hear the beautiful music coming from the exhaust.
Other people in ugly, dirty cars looked at me. A lot. (Maybe it was the stupid grin on my face )

Is there a better built, better performing and more fun car made today? If so, someone let me know. There is still room in the garage.

Not only did it start and take me to work, as usual, I was able to put the top DOWN on the way home from work.......WOW!

Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer, let's see; first I wash the car, then change the oil, then install the CAI. Then I can go for another drive.

Gosh, gotta work in lunch and shopping with the wife and a hair cut, too. It must be the weekend.

Ohhhhh yeah, my car started today! Just like it has every single day since I got it on February 22. Has it only been just under 2 weeks? That 2 weeks has been pure heaven. I love this car so much it's almost scary.

Although today, I felt like I had a target on my car, everyone was swerving towards me, trying to back into me, trying to hit me ... just a bad karma day.

For the full rant, read here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=109163

None of which are the car's fault.

Okay, I am starting to get the shakes from the car not starting...well it's been in storage. But I am sure when I drop the battery back in, it will start right away...PLEASE LET THE SNOW STOP !
