sounds good with a cat to me. no drone at all. not sure how it would sound without the cat but im in CA and don't wanna deal with the smog police. if you have a loud intake then that would kinda drown out the exhaust on the high end.

Thanks, I'm going to try it with the cat first. Unless there is some huge advantage to running with a test pipe I won't do it. No sense in killing the enviroement and getting the smell if its not going to yield anything.

Well I got it installed today, it had NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER being hooked up to the stock AP2 hangers, despite there triangle shape. It also hangs quite well. I also used the stock bolts and gasket to hook it up to the cat.

I really have to run it for a while to see though . . . right now it sounds VERY similiar to stock.

gotta let it warm up for a while.... esp if its cold outside. then you'll start to hear it.

I drove 60 miles on it tonight . . . it still sounded pretty stock. Do I need to wait for carbon deposits or something, lol?

dunno... how many miles were put on it previously? i got mines used so it was broken in already. usually after 10 mins or so it starts to sound noticeable.

I know this exhaust sounds close to stock, which is one reason I like it.

But, Does it weigh less then stock? Its not a huge deal if its not that much lighter to me, but just wondering

Mine was on a friends car previously also. I drove around with it today. I guess its noticeable that its not "stock" if you drive a stock s2000 back to back, but its very very subtle. I barely notice it. I was hoping not to have to put on a test pipe, but I'm considering it now just to see what kind of differance it makes.

The Fujitsubo is a totally different exhaust with a test pipe. The sound is amazing, no drone at all. Trust me, you have to try it

I might just have to. What kind of test pipe do you recommend Bill?
