break in schmake in... 500 miles for the diff and you are fine.

I'm currently at 4500 and haven't really noticed any changes since I first got it... it may be a little smoother but I doubt it's an actual difference. Love the car though

 

4700 mi and the only change is I don't wash it ever other day.

 

 

My '06 now has 13500 miles on the odometer.

The 2nd to 3rd gear shift doesn't feel as notchy as when the car was new (or maybe I've just gotten better at shifting/rev-matching).

I didn't notice any changes at all in the engine/performance after the break-in period... it's just that now I'm a VTEC addict.

My mileage got better. My first few tanks averaged about 19 mpg, but by 2000 miles on the OD, I've been averaging 23.5 mpg. I'm driving the same; I think it must be due to engine break-in.

 

I didn't notice a damn thing.

 

am i the only one with super low milages 06? i have 418 now
