Hi are there any differences performance/sound/design wise between an MY00 and a MY05 exhaust, i know there are cosmetic differences.

I have a t1r decat pipe will that fit the my05?.

The exhausts are the same other than cosmetics (and hanger design on primary muffler...still interchangeable between years though).

Your T1R test pipe will work fine for all years.

 

Same HP, same sound... just diff tips to flow better with each design.

Hangers ae different enough that any exhaust made for AP1 COULD have trouble with AP2 if not designed for both. Also, a few will only clear one of the two bumper designs.
