This might be slightly off-topic but I need some of you video gurus in helping me transfer my video (S2K autocross footage) to PC then to VCD. I am currently using the ULEAD Video Studio for capturing my digital video. However, after rendering it, the quality suffers. Does anyone know what I can do to improve the quality? Also any recommendations on a video editing program? I don't really like how Video Studio edits.

 

I am currently wrestling with a similar problem. However my problem is rendering the .mpeg in a format that Nero can burn as a useable SVCD. Try vcdhelp They have a lot of "How To's...." and a helpful forum.

 

you use ULEAD for rendering?
i tried TMPEG Encoder for VCD and the quality seems to be ok
