so where is it? i thought i knew where it was when i went to the dealership... but i guess i don't. =( the only compartments i know of is the vertical one that has trunk release, and then opening the horizontal one (the aeroscreen is on the lid) which has the eyeglass holder and another bigger hole. i'd hate to take delivery and realize two years later that i had more room. =)

 

Clck, your are right, that is the so-called secret compartment. I guess if you are small it is somewhat near your head. Utah S2k, the only reason you have so many stars is because of the stupid comments you make, like the last one.

 

can someone post pics of the changer in the secret compartment? i didn't think it was that deep or wide enough to fit it.

Regarding the secret compartment, even the Honda salesman didn't know about it - or at least he didn't tell me about it when he showed me round the car.

I didn't find out about it until I read the hadbook.

My digital camera is unavailable right now (that's another story). Basically, I had to cut two 2.5" slots in the sides of the secret compartment starting about 1.5" down. It is tight but fits perfectly. I then used material similar to the Miata bar (that people are using to protect the rear window) to finish the installation and it looks very professional.
