Default Dipstick

It was time for me to fill up for the first time today so I figured I would check the oil. I found the gas/trunk release o.k. and the secret compartment but I have to admit it took me a while to locate the dipstick. It is a very weird setup but still kind of slick!

That's odd, it only took me a second. At least you found it. So, how many miles do you have on it?

When you check your oil, look at both sides of the dipstick.

Really? I felt like mine stood out. It did take me a while to find the gas release though.

I've never seen a dipstick that wasn't in a tube.

I had a lot more trouble finding the gas thingy than the dipstick. I sat in the gas station for five minutes looking all over. Anyways, glad you found it

I don't know what they were smoking when they designed some things on this car. The gas cap release is in such an awkward place. My fingers don't fit there unless i open the door. Why put the trunk release in the lockable glove compartment, so when the car is on and the glove box is locked, u gotta shut the car off.... No power door locks.... Every convrtible except this one, when you put the top up, if u keep ur finger on the button the windows go up as well after the top goes up, not on this car.

Hehehe... I had the same problem too when I first tried to check my oil Its funny because I asked my friend to try and find it and it took him jsut as long. And that the thing about power door locks.. its kind of annoying to have to reach over and unlock the door for whoever you're picking up...
