I took of my throttle body to have Pro Flow bore me one and noticed the back of the throttle body and the manifold are pretty black and oily, not wet but really black..is that normal?

Can i use Gunk or something to clean them off again?

That conditon is normal from what I have seen. There is an intake manifold cleaner (aersol can form) that they sell at parts stores.

Mine is apart right now getting a new throttle body and I'm not sure what else
