Default Dirty thieves slashed my top!

So I get back from my trip to find this :

They didn't take my seats but they snatched my registration, insurance, and other misc. car information.

I really hope they dont come back for the whole car next time. I'm not sure what they can do with the reg but hopefully not much. I have already filed a claim with my insurance so we'll see what they say.

Dang. Second time my car has been broken into. Can't have anything nice in LA!

Same thing happened to my car. They gave it a nice sunroof like this

Luckily they only took my ipod fm transmitter and ipod. Nothing super valuable or important info.

That's terrible, some people really need to dragged over hot coals.

I hope your car is fixed up soon. Good luck.

ID theft can be a big hassle. Be sure to file a police report and get a copy, so you can add the official 7-year block on your credit and so you have documented proof that someone took your info.

Sorry to see this.

I can't understand how your insurance and registration is a danger for ID theft though. Not anymore than if someone stole your driver's license...all they have is your address, policy number, etc. Sounds more like a hate crime than a theft attempt...they knew it would be a PITA for you to get another registration card?

Now they have the home address, they can break in, steal the car keys, etc.
