Disable Passenger Airbag (UK)
Hi all,
I just tried calling my local honda delaer, but to no avail. Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the passenger airbag on the S2000(UK)?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for that, all solutions I found seemed to be US based. Think i'll contact Honda UK myself and see what they have to say.
Thanks again

As usual, I'll chime in.
In the US, airbags have saved thousands of people, and killed around 50. Of the 50, 29 were children without their seatbelts.
You do the math. Check the NHTSB website. Make your own conclusion.
I'm convinced that you take a much greater risk for your passengers by disconnecting the airbag, or allowing the possiblity that it will be off when needed.
Remember, the thing is supposedly only fatal if you are within 9" at the moment of deployment. If your child is within 9" of the dash, you have safety problems much greater than the airbag.
In my opinon, this airbag disconnect thing is the legacy of some lawsuit, not of sound science or probablity studies.
Caveat... only do this if you must carry a rear facing child seat.
