BTW, burnt clutch=driver caused. I don't think there is any dispute about this. You can say the clutch is not strong enough, but that's just information to be used in deciding how much to push it.
Believe me, I've never been a fan of the Honda hype, but any manufacturer would treat the clutch this way. As to the other stuff, your guess is as good as mine.

My transmission has had a bad, grindy 1-2, 2-3 and 3-2 from the very day that I drove it off of the dealer's lot.

I don't see anything wrong with the stress of occasional track days or Auto-X. The warranty should apply in full. The S2K is advertised as a high performance sports car. I don't know about other areas of the world but here in America that means "let's go racing." Street or strip, doesn't matter to me.
Now having said that, abuse should not be covered. But to me hard braking, cornering, full-throttle acceleration, and speed shifting are not abuse. Nor is the occasional sub-6 second 0-60 (I refer again to published Honda ads).

When I bought my S2000 from Corona Honda, included with the manual and warranty materials was an application to join the SCCA and other SCCA materials. I thought all S2000 buyers received that package, but maybe not.
