anyone think it's possible to use some type of adhesive film that i can cut to fit over my headlight like an eyelid (that i can paint body color as well)? i love the look of the eyelids on the AP1 but i hate how you can see how raised up they are from up close...

you guys think i can get a body shop to just tape off everything except the top of the headlight then sand/prep/paint it body color?

Get some matching colored decal-type vinyl, cut it to the shape you want, soak in soapy water for a short time, then apply and rub out to the proper position. The water should keep the vinyl adhered to the headlight.

They used to do this with Celicas a lot to red-out the tailights.
