Default DIY Intake Mod for AUT Cooling Plate

The butt dyno says increase throttle response and a bit more power throughout the rpm. It's more noticeable during nighttime when the air is cooler and more dense. Let me know what you guys think.

$13 in materials and about an hour and a half is what it took me to complete this project.

Pretty slick there pal... Basically a homemade snorkel...
As far as hydro-locking, I believe it should not be an issue b/c the stock air box has a built in "guard" to prevent water from reaching the filter... That is, of course, if one hasnt cut it out...
I would prob invest in a mesh grille, though, to prevent road debris from getting up in there so easily... Great idea and far less ex$$$pensive...
