First off, I'm in the uk, and has anyone seen that engine with a fitted greddy turbo kit?? <3
Just wondering as I see a lot of the engines for sale, stay for sale for a long time, is it that the engines tend to never go wrong, or is it that these engines are currently over priced?? (£2000ish)

 

When properly maintained and not abused, the engine for this car will almost always last the life of the vehicle (250k+ miles). Every now and then people blow an engine from forced induction or racing and need another motor. People sell engines out of totaled vehicles because it's still a very valuable part of the car that will sell to the right person needing a motor. $3000USD for a good, used engine is a fairly typical price.

 

More people probably total their S then toast their engine and need a replacement. So, more engines available from parted cars than needed for rebuilds = engine stay on the market.
