Default Do other car's horns scare the shit out of you?

Everytime my top is down some car honks their horn and scares the shit out of me. It's so annoying and it definitely happens every time I am out driving with the top down. When I drive in my other car (a coupe) I never notice honks, ever.

Does this happen to anyone else? Yes, I fully realise I am a gigantic pussy that is easily startled, won't you take me into your comforting arms?

Yes actually it does. It doesn't even need to be top down. In my gsr with the windows down, one day I swore ppl were honk crazy. Each time they did it I get startled! Fool me once! Strange with the top down, you can hear pretty much everything.

I was right next to a truck cab yesterday when he started to slow down and the truck made the engine brake noises...ugh it was so loud.

thats why honda gave the s2000 that puny horn, so we don't scare other s2000 drivers when we honk in recognition!
