Default do others drive your S?

personally, if im friends with someone and they can drive stick, the first thing they have to do when we hang out is drive the S. i feel like its so great and special that i have to let as many people as possible enjoy it (as long as i know they can take good care of it) ive also taught a couple friends to drive stick on it. I also offer my dad the keys as much as possible cuz he loves to drive it but i think hes afraid to ask lol. mom too.

i know some guys are super protective and wouldnt let the stig press the unlock button on the keyfob, whats up with that guys? be a little more generous and less paranoid!

opinions?

Sorry, my S is the one material possession that I have that is much more than a material possession. No one will be in the driver seat if the engine is on besides myself. It's not about trust, selfish/selflessness, abilities, etc., it's the simple fact that it is representative of something much larger than just a car.

I let my dad drive my S when he needs to but i know that he babies every car he ever drives. I dont like letting my older brother drive my car becuase he likes to drive it like its a race car. He talks loads of crap about my torque less Honda (he drives a subi) but will drive the S whenever he has the chance. Other than that i never let regular friends drive my car. If i ever do i will ride shot gun for sure.

I do SOMETIMES, but not for more than 3 minutes. I let my dad drive it, just so I could hear what my exhaust sounded like from the outside.

I had few GFs in the past who where lucky enough to drive my S with the stick.

I have also switched S2000s with a fellow owner on track to compare my setup from his stock setup. We gave a lot of respect to each other.

- I let my Mom drive it once (she picked it up from my work when a co-worker alerted me that "people were stalking it" in the parking lot)

- I let my Dad drive it once (home from a Dairy Queen, I could tell he WANTED to, but didn't want to ask)

- I let my husband test drive it before I bought it, but he hasn't driven it since. (Hey, I got to drive the RX7 twice in 5 years, he can wait a bit)

I hate letting other people drive my car, I'm actually getting pretty nervous b/c I have inspection this month I don't even want my mechanic to drive it.
