...afterall, it's JUST a Honda right?...haha just messin' ... all joking aside, I'm just curious as to what kind of attention the car gets from normal people on the road. I know that every kid who owns a civic will want to race it but aside from that, does it tend to blend in with traffic (excluding the yellow and red colors) or can it still be spotted from far? What reactions do you get from others? Just curious...

Well....I can put it into perspective for you.....

I live in NYC, the biggest, richest, and most popular city in the world.....

When I drive in manhattan, I get people yelling "nice car" etc.....taking pictures, waving at me, smiling, thumbs up, honking....When I park my car in front of my job....its a conversation piece for people, and I cant tell you how many times I go outside and see a mob of people around it just gawking. Another thing that is a big attention getter is the fact that it IS a Honda. Most people are in disbelief that Honda ever made such a car. And as Ive stated before (my car is red), I cant tell you how many people honestly think its a ferrari. So yes, I get more attention than an M3, any Benz, any bling bling truck....etc.....I OWN the car, and everytime I see one I stare myself!!!

Cheers to all the s2000 owners for having a sex object on wheels.

I'll agree with the above. It simply cannot be put into words how others look at your car. Every fill up at the gas station turns into a free show for others. Little kids in vans and SUV's always swarm to the side that I'm on and just stare and I can see them mouth "what is that?" Rick's S badges help quite a bit on keeping this car in the "WTF is that" category.

It's simply a cool and rewarding feeling ON TOP of the already rewarding driving experience you get with owning such a fabulous car. Who would have thought it's simplistic designs could draw SO much attention from people of ANY age group. I just don't need the driver of another car going off the road or into me by looking at my car. I know even with owning one I stare long and hard at other S2000's that I see on the road or parked somewhere. I simply just love looking at pictures of s2000's online too. It's a great passion that I had before owning one and it has only grown since I've owned one. I'm sure at night when cars pass by me, or mostly when I pass other cars , they get a kick out of the digital instrumentation with the big rainbow bar on top. Ahh.. the joys of the S!

My car doesn't really attract a lot of attention. That's one of the reasons I chose Sebring. When my car is around Spa S2000s it becomes invisible!

My '03 E Class (black w/chrome 18" AMGs) is an eyeball magnet however.

I hope they are looking at the car and not the "old fool" driving it.

hehe... Always have my Maui Jims on...

And the car is much better looking than the driver!

It's funny. People flat-out stare when they think you can't see them...
