Default Do these work?

I did researching and I get pros and cons. Do those small air breather filters that go on our CAI actually suck in some air and make our VTEC scream a little louder? Thats what I heard. Or are they just for looks? They come in different sizes too. I saw one that is 50mm. Will that fit on my AEM V2 CAI? Where do they go? Anyone got pics? Lastly, does the Venom 400 performance module add some power too?

Venom400 = no power on a car like ours. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but they essentially work like an afc and timing adjuster but with no customization, just an on/off switch. Instead get a vafc which will let you tune your car to your specifici mods (cai, headers etc.) which will net you much better power and allow you to adjust your vtec engagement as well.

As far as the filter, do you have a link where we can see what you're talking about?

those little filters are just for looks and i would recommend that you keep the hose on there instead. it is used to recirculate blowby gases from your engine back into the intake and reburned. it is also for emissions.

A link or a picture would help a little here. I am having trouble 'seeing' what you are describing.
