Default Do the tops sunfade?

I am wondering, since I have been driving my car quite a bit these day, that if I leave my car outside in the sunlight all day, should I expect to see the top fading over time? I live here in Orange county, and about 2.5 miles from the beach. I have an 03 with the glass window.

Have any of you who have had the cars for a while noticed a lot of sun fade? If not? what did you do to protect your tops? did you treat it with anything?

I used to put Vinylex on mine with every car wash, but have gotten lazy about it for a while. I think mine has faded a little bit (it's pretty subtle).

Overall, I'd expect it to fade a bit over time.

Use 303 on the top once a month to maintain it.

I don't think you'd notice much fade for at least 5 - 6 years, even in Cali.
