Do you contact the previous owner of your car?
I tried to but for some reason he changed is phone number, address, and did not update me. Also, the police say the car may have been in some sort of "incident". Doesn't bother me, all I know is the upholstery is spotless almost like it was recently replaced! I do wish he hadn't scratched out the VIN plate, it makes the annual inspection a real nightmare!

Sounds like it could have been stolen or something.

That was the joke...
Yes. I do. He is a GREAT guy and one of the reasons I bought the car from him.
I was looking for a certain car. And a certain owner. I liked him right away and knew I found the car/owner I was looking for.
even kept the name HE gave the car :-)

If anyone contacts me about my GPW that was stolen, I'd probably help them out, though I'd ask a few questions first.
The previous owner of the NFR I just bought said to contact him first if I decide to sell the car. Turned out to be a really nice guy, even paid for half of the labor to grease the clutch release bearing and guide since he installed the clutch himself. Told him I'd send him pics of the car at the track day in October.

My buddy who recently purchased an ap1, flew from Kentucky to Florida sight unseen to get the car. The owner even offered to let him stay overnight instead of getting a hotel. Still keeps in contact with him and even said he could vacation at his house lol. The same guy also helped out with a few questions I had when I drove down to Naples to pick up a car with my buddy that bought the ap1 from him. Good to see that there is people willing to help in the s2k community and like to receive updates
