Default Do you dry your S?

Do you dry off your car when you park it in the garage after a rain shower? I know this seems odd, but I don't like to leave all that beaded up water on the car overnight for fear of waterspots the next day Am I going whacko, or do other people towel dry their baby?

lol i dry it all the time before parking it in the garage..your not wacko lol
i hate waterspots and on a berlina it is quite evident yet sometimes you just cant help it

but on a side note the S usually doesnt come out in the rain unless it is caught in the occasional shower

Come on that is not wacko. That is SOP. Of course the wife has the same reaction as your girl friend. I am with the others the S doesn't see the rain unless I get caught out.

You're losing it....

Like most normal S2K owners here, I would never let a drop of rain land on my S or it will need a car wash and detail. I use one of those quick detailers to wipe the car after just 30 minutes of use on a very nice day.

I drove it today in the rain for the first time. Just felt like it. I do dry it off after a wash and see no reason why not to do it after a rain. I have a GPW and I get small black dots from the polluted rain drops. I have often wondered if I should let them dry then wipe the car or do it while it is wet.

im garage-less and lazy, so i only towel dry it after I wash it.

The fact i have silverstone helps though. car rarely show dirt/water spots

ONly dry mine after it is washed.

If you dry it after rain, you are moving a LOT of dirt across the paint which only means one thing... (but LOTS of them!)
