Use a leaf blower to blow the rain off your car. As someone posted before, using towels or a california water blade can drag the dirt that's on your car with the rain water. If you wash it, the dirt has been rinsed off and it's just the clean water.

if somehow i got a little water on the car, i'd just wash it off (then i'd dry it to prevent water marks). i usually get away with just washing once every two weeks 'cause i don't intentionally drive when i know it will rain...

I like the leaf blower idea, wonder what the wife would say if I was in the garage with the hair dryer..., she already calls herself the vtec widow..., :-)

Rain, what's that! Heaven forbid my S ever be out in the rain. The only water it sees is wash day.

if you do a good wax it wouldn't cause any water spots.....I did a good wax on my car, drove it in the rain the next day, parked it in the garage, and came out the next day with no water spots.
