Craigslist. Doublecheck the posted rules on this, but as a guest here I believe you can also post in the classifieds here on s2ki.com but only the entire car as one unit, not as a part out. You have to be a paid member to sell parts.

If you want advice on value, post in the "what's my car worth thread" and folks typically answer with good info.

That red/black interior looks to be in great shape as well. That will sell very easily

you will make a lot more money if the car is parted out. I think you will get utterly screwed if you decide to sell outright.

Thanks all for guidance in this. I do believe it has significant value still; however, im not the type of guy to take it appart. I work 80+ hours a week running two businesses. To part it out, would I be the one disassembling it or how does that work?

You would take apart every single part, take their pictures, price them, then put them for sale on this site/or others and wait for them to sell. Not only that but you're most likely going to have to ship most of those parts. Yes you'll make more money this way then selling it in one piece but you have to factor in the time and energy you put into parting it out. How much is your time worth?

Just to give you an idea, last year I sold an 04 at 83k miles with considerably more damage then yours for $4500, because I didn't have the time to part it out. Yours should sell for $6k at least. Given your situation I would suggest you sell the car in one piece. Or at the most have the front right control arm replaced so at least the car is driveable onto a trailer/tow truck. That would make the car more easier to sell nationwide.

Parting it out would take a long long time. And from what you've said about owning 2 businesses taking 80+ hours per week I can almost guarantee that it is not worth your time and energy parting it out.

Oh... and it hurt my eyes seeing how clean the rest of the car was... and the odometer

This is certainly one memory I want to purge as soon as possible.

I owned this car 6 or 7 years ago, sold it 4 years ago to a couple about 30 mins away. They called in Aug and asked if I wanted it back. I was at their home a few days later with a check for the price I sold it to them. I was so happy to have this back. I can just about cry thinking about this and the fact that insurance is leaving me out in the cold after giving them 5 figures a year for 8? years to the same agency.

Before you do anything, go to the shop to get a quote on how much it would be to fix it. Maybe you can ask them what parts will be needed. Once you have that primary information you can slowly find parts from salvaged s2000s, and rebuild it after time. Just make sure the frame and everything is straight. That is what I would do. Just look on salvaged yards, CL, ebay, s2ki, etc. Take it to the shop for the things you cant do yourself.
