Which one? They have about 7 of them currently on the market (just counting the ones for cars).

DR500lite. I would recommend getting their top of the line one and save yourself the headaches if you do choose to go with blackvue. US support for their cheaper models is slow and sometimes non existent. The top of the line models have some 3rd party coders that release new firmware to get better recording quality.

IE. I couldn't change my settings because on one of the official updates, the save button was not clickable. Took a few months before they released a new one with a working save button.

Thanks. I wasn't asking because I want to buy one. I already have all the dashcams I need right now and am not currently in the market, but I do keep up on the some of the forums and most of the latest releases. I asked for clarification because the guy who started the thread might want to know which model of the 7 which Blackvue currently offers you were referring to. I'm familiar with Blackvue's offerings and they have pluses and minuses. I don't actually think they are a great choice compared to what else is on the market right now for a lot of reasons. They are not a terrible choice, but not a great one, depending on what one's individual specific needs are.

Just an aside... BlackVue's currently top of the line model retails for $575 complete. Compared to what other options are out there, it's a bit, um, pricey.
