Do you have wear marks on your seatback?

I've found that my seatback (driver side only) has two 3" long black marks on the left and right sides where the seatback comes in contact with the black plastic panel. It's getting to the point where I can't remove the marks, and the seatback material is beginning to show signs of permanent wear.

Anyone else have this problem, and any suggestions on how to prevent any further wear?

Are you talking about those two little hooks on the black plastic??..My solution, don't sit so far back..luckily i'm only 5"7' so it's not a problem for me..would moving your seat up make it too uncomfortable for you??

No problem here, 5'7" also. My seat is almost as far forward as it can go

I have the same marks, discovered them some time ago. I have the seat pushed as far back as possible for maximum leg room, and the seat is rubbing against the rear plastic wall. I can't get the black marks out either, didn't dare to scrub too much. I plan to put some self-adhesive heavy duty clear plastic behind the seatback to see if that helps. (The same stuff i have put as protection on my bike gas tank to protect the paint from my knees).

Unfortunately, the seat arrangement isn't condusive to driver's who are over 6 foot tall (make that over 5' 7" ). If I pull the seat forward with the seatback upright (not touching the back panel), my knees get jammed under the dash, and my feet are then at the wrong angle to push the pedals down fluently. I have to compromise and have the seatbelt tilted back, so I'm as horizontal as I can get. That's the only way I use the pedals effectively, without having my knees crunch the dash.

I know it's another point, but why don't they make the pedal thrust angle adjustable? On some cars you need to press the pedals almost downwards, and on others, you have to press almost horizontally forward. The limited seat movement on the S2K doesn't give you many options to compensate for the fixed, awkward pedal angle.

I too have this problem as I have my seat right back for my long legs. It seems to rub on one corner right where the seatbelt goes over the back of the seat. I haven't done anything about it yet but maybe something as simple as some duct tape might help?

I thought from looking at the directions for the factory alarm install that the hooks are actually screws or fasteners of some sort. Would it be possible to remove the hooks (for those of us who dont have the pouches) and find some other sort of fastener that DOESNT protrude?

might be an idea... I havent looked, but I wonder if something like those ribbed Nylon push tabs might work?

let me get this straight, these are marks on the back of the seat? Who's looking? I'm not sure I care unless the hooks are actually going to wear through.
