Actually, I mean the Pad Shims, or do people only paint the calipers?

 

Don't paint the shims...it will look goofy.

thanks, i wasn't going to (err on the side of conservatism from my accounting days) but i wasn't sure.

of course, if i was using arthur anderson's method of acccounting, that would have resulted in disaster

 

I painted the shims and it looks good. No one has ever said anything bad about it. I mostly did it, so you'd notice the painted calipers more. Does'nt really matter. I would do it again, if I had to.

I would paint the caliper what ever color you are thinking of and the shims black...

What about the caliper bracket? Are you painting that as well? I saw a picture of the caliper ad the bracket painted the same color (red) and I thought it looked weird. What does everyone think about painting the caliper red and the bracket black? Would that look weird?
