Default Do you replace gasket when installing headers?

Sorry for the dumb question. My buddy just got a header and was wondering what gasket he should use to put it on? Where can he get it? Also where can he get a heatshield? Thanks!

you can probably reuse the stock one if it is in good shape. it is a metal gasket, not a paper one that is only good for one use.

It is best that you change it. When you replace a part, such as an header the seal gets broken and you should change it out.
I just ordered a new one from honda and used the stock one.
Im sure you can find aftermarket gaskets.
