Do you stink after driving with the top down?
do you sweat when you bake in the sun, sir?
I NEVER drive with the top down in the middle of the day. WAY too hot, especially when the sun is beaming on you...
I don't see how people be doing that. Every time I see and old dude driving in their convertable corvette with the top down in 95 degree with with clear skies and 100 humidity, I'm like, "I KNOW that guy has to be roasting!"

Ya know, the car DOES have an air conditioner. It still works with the top down.
Although I rarely do that. I live in SC where they say the only thing that separates us from hell is a screen door.
I still go topless most of the time. They make this wonderful stuff called deodorant.
I have not noticed but then again I have been driving convertibles for 34 years, 99% of the time with the top down so maybe I have gotten used to the smell
To the one guy that said he does not drive if the sun is up, why did you buy a convertible ? Its not that bad to drive in the sun with the top down, I do it every day often with long sleeves and tie on, although I usually put the suit coat in the trunk for the drive. No client has ever complained about the smell when I got to his place.

I should clarify here...
I'm not sweating. I mean, I am, but not THAT much. When I drive on a hot day I keep the A/C blasting through the dash vents and the floor vents. I'm developing a "road funk" more along my arms...almost like it's from exhaust and all the other global-warming-inducing chemicals that Al Gore is trying to warn us about.
Anyway...I get the whole "when it's hot outside; you sweat; then you stink"....but it isn't that. It's more of a funk that attaches to the areas most exposed to the ambient air.
For example, my left elbow is usually the stankiest.
