Why would driving the S make you anymore or less "stinky" then walking outside? I suppose if you used to drive a car where you had the windows up and AC on all the time then sure. My previous car I always had the windows open anyways and I notice no difference now than before.

To the one guy that said he does not drive if the sun is up, why did you buy a convertible ? Its not that bad to drive in the sun with the top down, I do it every day often with long sleeves and tie on, although I usually put the suit coat in the trunk for the drive. No client has ever complained about the smell when I got to his place.
I don't drive in the middle of the day with the sun up during the summer, either. For one, I'm not in California. It's miserable in Texas around this time.

I bought a convertible because I liked the S2000 and it only comes in convertible form unless you want to spend the money on the HT. I'd actually prefer it if the S2000 was designed as a coupe and weighed in around 2500-2600lbs. Although, I do enjoy having the top down on summer nights or the cooler months.

exactly!

I love driving in the evening with the top down! But, Not in the middle of the blistering day!

AC does NOT help the sun from baking onto your skin.

I don't care if some of you guys drive in the baking sun with the top down. Like I said, thats something I will never understand. I am asian, I am scared crapless of the sun...

and to the guy that asked me why I bouight a convertable. I bought it so I can have drive with the top down with confortable weather!

I know most of the guy dont not afraid of the sun.
But I am one of a few guy afraid the sun.
Skin cancer, darkness of skin, sun burn.
So to those who run top down in 95degree, I say we really need to give credit to them, the TOPDOWN sticker.

As some other owner, I buy this convertible because I like everything about the S. I actually hate convertible but other factor made me overcome it. And now I even like convertible now because of the S.

How funny, that's exactly what my wife says.

LOL - This looks like a thread I would make.

To answer the question - yes, sometimes. Obviously a 2 minute trip to Walmart isn't going to have an effect but long drives, oceanside drives, etc. definately leave me feeling... grimey. I wouldn't say I smell different but I feel gross. I've done quite a few road trips in the S, all throughout the South/Southeast US and usually in the summer - always with the top down.
