Clean car
condition interior
ap1 wheels on for flat spots
car cover goes on

that's pretty much it. Any recommendations.

Question? So dryer sheets in interior and trunk will keep rodents away? I had my car parked for about 1 month and found that field mice was living under the hood. Any way to keep them out.

I'm in an opposite climate. Winter is top-down driving time. Summer is top up or hard top time. Year 'round use here.

Wash.
Condition leather, usually.
Disconnect battery.
Leave top down, usually.
Put car cover on.
Leave it.

Been doing this for 17 years. Why do any more if there have been no issues? It starts right up come spring.

I store my car.

wash/wax/clean interior

change oil (I take it in for a service...also ensure that the antifreeze and other fluids are ok)

dryer sheets under the hood, in trunk, in car, and I stuff socks in the exhaust. Also set climate control to "recirculate" to close pathways for mice to enter

mousetraps in garage

fuel stabilizer

battery tender

start car once per month and let it warm up to normal operating temperature

put car cover over car

This seems like it would not have a single benefit.

Per my Honda S2000 Owner's Manual, under "Storing Your Car":

"If possible, run the engine for a while periodically (preferably once a month)."

This is how it sits now. But I don't really store it per se. It doesn't get so bad here that I can't pull it out of the garage once every two weeks or so and take it down the road a bit. I keep it covered mainly due to where it sits next to the window, at least until I get off my arse and put up some curtains. Lol

Yeap, don't do that. You're forcing cold oil through the engine once a month for what exactly? Instead use an oil with high zinc content and let it sit.

Mine is stored for 6-8months each year for last two years and lives in a tent outside (+ outdoor cover).
I only fill the tank and clean it and condition the leather to slow down the mould. (Also add the moisture absorbing trays on a floor).
And remove battery (i prefer not to charge pc680 in the car in case it explodes).

on return i remove #15 fuse and crank it for 10seconds to build up oil pressure, then start it with the fuse and let it warm up...

That black thicket looks like it comes from a nightmare. No wonder you store your S!
Winter storage for me is rain or just overnight while I sleep.
