Do you trust body shops??
I was recently hit in the fron by some idiot backing into me. The front bumper needs to be replaced. That is a givin. However, there are two chips in the hood and side fender that are barely noticable. The ins co approved the fender replacement and to repaint the hood and fender. Although the body shop is reputable, would you alow them to repaint the hood and fender for a couple of "rock chips"?? It is a Honda specialist dealer autobody establishment. I just don't know if it is worth the risk.
What do you folks think

Something similare happend on my Prelude. My front bumper was badly damaged by a delivery truck backing into my car and the hood was scratched slightly. I let them repaint the entire hood.
If it's a good bodyshop, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

I would not paint anything but the new front piece. My s2k was backed into back in May. I only had the front cover painted. It was a good thing, because the highly recommended shop gave me the worst paint job I have ever seen. It took them three time before it was acceptable.

Dorian,
If you're really worried about it. I can reccommend a really good shop down hre in LA. They actually get a lot of business from people in Arizona, since their reputation is so good. Not sure if your car is in any driveable condition or not though.
