Default Do you warm your s2k up?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone warms there car up in the morning or when the car has not been used for a while. I had a 2000 Si once and the salesman told me I dont have to warm it up because of the technology (fuel injection). I was wondering if this applies to the s2k as well. is it necessary to warm it up?

If I'm not in a hurry I let it idle for a few seconds until the air pump shuts off and then go, but no matter what I always drive nice and easy until I hit 3 bars on the temp. gauge.

No warm up required in the S2000, just keep it under 6K RPM until you get 3 bars on the temp gauge.

Normally, I would laugh at this statement and ask you if you still believe in Santa.

However, in this case, he was right. Also, your owner's manual should cover this very topic.

Yep, no warmup is required. I only let mine warm up if I need to move my integra out of the way (1 car garage).
