70? Wow. My top goes up at 30 F. Or much above 80 if its midday. Too hot.

I always wear a hat, even usually at night. Otherwise its just too windy. I sit tall, eyelevel is just about even with top of the side windows. During the day the sun would blind me without a hat, so two reasons hat is needed. I have a collection of hats in the car.

Always have a hat on.... top down, up or hardtop...hot or cold....day or night. In 14 years can't remember being in the car without one.

I wear a hat from 45F to perhaps 70F, maybe no hat from 70F to 80F unless really sunny, and definitely a hat from 80F to 105F.

 

I just did a google image search for "driving topless" and none of the girls were wearing a hat.

I'm dark enough that sunburn is not an issue. I never wear a hat because if it is cold enough, i have my top up. I just roll with shades.

 

I hardly ever go top down when the sun is out blazing... Sun burn is serious stuff out here.

I go top down at night during summer and it's awesome.
