Do you wear a hat or a cap when driving with the top down?

I tried crusing on the freeway at night with the top down, and when I got home the top of my head was freezing! Probably need to go find a cap soon. Maybe my REI Sahara SPF 35 wilderness hat would be good to keep my face and neck from the sun.

Anyone try wearing a helmet on extended drives?

No helmet here

However, I support a little under 100 people in the office I work at and some of them should be wearing helmets at all times!

I usually don't wear a hat. Sometimes I will in the dog days of summer.

I had thought about getting a helmet to wear while driving. Several of my coworkers ride motorcycles to work, and I'd love to see the looks on their faces.

I wear a hat just to keep the sun out of my eyes. I wear a ski hat when the temp is below 40. The top is always down

Hat all the time. Beanie if it's cold out. (cold for the SF Bay Area that is).

I must wear a baseball cap whenever the sky is clear, to keep the sun from blinding me.

I've been hoping to find some other had that provides sun protection for the back of my neck or my ears, but every other hat I've tried has been completely dorky looking. Maybe a cowboy hat is the only thing that would work.

Do you texas owners wear cowboy hats? I was born in Texas, so I should be entitled to wear one too.

My mother-in-law played alot of tennis with just a visor. You should have seen the giant holes they had to cut in the top of her head to get the skin cancer out. Since then, I wear a hat.

Only when I'm liable to get sunburn if I don't. A cap with a peak also makes it much easier to drive without the sun getting in your eyes.

I always wear a ball cap when the sun is out. As mentioned above it does a decent job of keeping the sun out of your eyes and it keeps my nose from getting burnt.
