Default Do your sidemarker turn on?

Hi guys,
recently I change my sidemarker with JDM Clear Sidemarker and change the yellow bulbs.. And the other day during night time driving, I notice my sidemarker is not ON until I turn on the signal. I always thought the sidemarker turn on when you turn on your low beam light and everything. So I thought it maybe because of the bulbs, so I went back to my photo album before I have the change in sidemarker and I notice my car sidemarker was not ON either.
Then the next day, I saw a yellow S2k at night time passing by with the sidemarker on and it was not blinking or anything.

So does the car change in the lighting area for my 07??? are those with the before year have lights on??

Not suppose to be on unless turning signal is on.

Normal. They only come on with turn signals or hazards (Same bulbs) as stated above.

Not sure why you saw another one with it on. Either it was the blinker and you didn't notice, they modded them to be on with lights, or it was a glare.

I'm pretty sure it was just the reflector doing what it's suppose to.

They are turn signals not running lights.
