Does the 00-01 hardtop defrost switch illuminate ?

Thumbs up Does the 00-01 hardtop defrost switch illuminate ?
Regarding the 00-01 hardtop defroster switch that goes on the armrest console... does the defrost icon illuminate when the headlights are on at night? I know that there is an on/off indicator, but was wondering the if the icon itself illuminated. Thanks.
