i got a 04 hardtop with the hardware which looks the same and mounts the same.

but my top wont align up to lock all 4 positions

i can either get the 2 fronts on or the 2 rears on. or i can get the 3 latches on but the driver side front windshield so that creats a big gap in the front

anyone know if its different? or do i just need to adjust something to make it fit

As per the hard top manual: Fasten front latches 1st, then the rears. Works great for me ( once tried to tightened the rears 1st & didn't got a good fit). If this dosn't work for you you may need a slight adjustment somewhere. Oh, 1 top is for all. Good luck!

 

Should fit straight on, if its a very small gap at the front i think there are small nuts on the clasps to loosen/ tighten the clasps to reduce squeaking, hopefully you could adjust the clasp to get a tighter fit.
