are the rear catchers and the brushes an option you woul dhave to buy for 04+

or do they come stock?

Yes, the catcher come with the hardtop. So do the brushes. So if you buy new, they come with. If you buy used, you have to buy them.

Starting in 2002, they started adding some hardtop hardware to specific colors. I believe in 04 all colors got the hardware.

I don't know if it is the catchers, but you will need Kit C. That's the cheapest one. Kit A+B are needed for 00, Kit B for 01 and specific 02-03 colors, and kit C for specific 02-03 colors and 04-05 cars.

check the instructions on handa accessories. that'll show you kit C which has what you need.

 

Ok, the MY02 and above car have the following to support hardtop installation.

1. Stronger front catchers
2. Defroster wiring for HT

In 2002, the hardtops for specific colors had additional hardware. From what I understood that has changed wit this new batch of hardtop (we all remember the long back orders) Sebring silver and Suzuka blue where color that were only available in 2002+ so you never needed Kit A, or B for. Again, this has changed. EVen the info posted on HandA has been supercided from what I understand (I talk to Hardtopguy far too much)

So again, if you buy the top new you will get what you need. If you buy it used, and only get the top, it will cost you about 500-700 for parts.

Yes, I know that. But therer is additional wiring needed. There is no switch and that needs wire too. The My02+ have that becasue of the rear glass.
