Anyone got a set of those plastic door handles? Can I borrow it for a couple of weeks?

Or

Anyone not driving their car for a few weeks or months, can I borrow your inside door handles? I'm finally getting around to making the billet door handles, and I need a set to model. If you let me borrow your set, I'll give you one set of my finished product for free.

Thank you.

Hey mingster, why not use yours? You can always open the door from the outside

BTW, fantastic idea! Put me down for a set.

I can send you mine, but I am not interested in your finished product as I already have billet door handles.

I'd take a drilled dead pedal, instead...

BTW, for some reason, the handles that I got came with all the OEM backing structure and not just the handle. Have you looked into it? May be it's tough to just replace the handle.

Ming,

As I've promised I shipped the handles yesterday.

The reason why I am posting it in here is so that I get others to chip in and tell you that you DEFINITELY have to build a set with LIGHTED lock switches. That is of course on top of the billet handles.

If you do, I am positive that everyone will buy a set.

Mingster,

How is the project going? I'm sure you'll have a winner if you can get around to producing these at a reasonable cost.

Just a remark...wouldn't those get really hot just like the shift knob?

I was thinking that a metal/chrome/billet look may be a little out of place in the almost metal-free look of the S2000 cockpit. How about handles in carbon fiber?

I think that would be look extremly cool...

I think the whole point of the handles was to be able to find them in low light. The stock ones are effectively invisible in the dark.
