I don't think chrome would work, but something to match the finish of the aluminium shifter would be perfect.

Billet door handles are 'de rigueur' in any proper car , and are easier to see in low light conditions, and vastly superior sight and touch wise.

And don't forget this is a piece that every passenger touches! Mingster pieces just need to have lighted lock switches to be perfect .
