Does different suspension setup for the '02s cause problems with aftermarket springs?
Hello there. It's been noted many times that the suspension is slightly different for the '02s; they stand noticebly higher and handle a bit differntly.
So say I just wanted to add springs and not an entire coilover kit...will this cause problems with my shocks, assuming they're different than the other model years? All aftermarket springs that I know of were availbable for the S2000s before '02.
And I don't want to get coilovers mainly because of price, but also, I've been hearing from a lot people that they tend to clunk a lot. Has anyone experieced loud clunking from coilovers before?
Thanks.

On my car I insist on knowing what I am removing and what I am installing.
actually is "refined" the gearbox...
I had always feel the slightly different of suspension setup between my 00 and 02, I think 02 do have firmer set up of shocks and springs than the S2000 before.
