So getting a loud ass exhaust....does it quiet down after awhile? like if the carbon builds up or something? i was thinking of putting silencers but dont wanna lose power.......But the DRONE is my main concern. do resonators help with that?

Gets louder actually. As respects the drone concern, that really depends on the exhaust that you get.

My experience is that they get quieter, but it's nothing significant. And it's definitely a qualitative comment, here.

they probably just get quieter because you get used to the sound. mine was loud when i first got it 6 months ago. after 6 months of driving around listening to it, i'm now looking for ways to make it louder because its too quiet.

Loud exhausts do get quieter thanks to the ear drum damage it does to your hearing.

I think you just got use to it

alejo is right, they will get louder over use and if you have a drone issue it will get worse too. Resonators help, as well as an equalizer tube to even out the exhaust passing through the pipes.
I have a T1R70RR single exhaust, when I first got it was pretty much quite considering but, now that it

my old mugen AP2 exhaust got louder but the sound was also better - I think once you burn off enough of the sound deadening/packing the true sound comes out.

well guys, i got the Turbo-mafia 2.5 inch magnaflow exhaust with ONE resonator and a test pipe... the test pipe didnt come yet, so its just the CAT back. and the DRONE is SO unbearable that i cant even hear the 12 inch sub in my trunk!!!!!

So having that said, they are sending me the silencers, and i'm afraid i'm going to lose power. BUT if i'm still above STOCK HP with the Test Pipe AND still has the low noise......then i'll probably keep it.

How many more resonators would you guys think i would need to cut the drone? it has one now. THE SOUND IS AMAZING GUYS..dont get me wrong!!! DEEEP ... NO rasp.. just louder than i want it to be!
