I have an Invidia V3. The night i installed it i was definitely a rolling noice violation. My homie followed me up an on ramp in his supra and said he could feel the bass from my exhaust in his chest. It was that loud.

After a few weeks it mellowed out a bit. It isn't as thunderous any more like it was at first.

recently got the greddy ti-c, my first impressions was "OMG put the sliencers back!" I did, for 1.5 days (nice, a bit more aggresive than stock). But not what I was looking for, took them out again! That was 3 weeks ago, I think the combo of some soot buildup, and getting used to it now makes it sound just right to me! My ears may have adjusted some, but the exhaust definitly quieted down a bit, Im comfortable with the exhaust as a DD no plans to put the silencers back for now. Still a bit of booming@ 3.5 to 4k, but you right foot will adjust as well!

silencers ftl. they will make your nice looking aftermarket exhaust look like something from an APC catalog.

As carbon deposits into the small spots where the 2 pipes are bolted together the sound will change, usually for the smoother, softer sound.

Id like to see some type of science behind "They get louder over time" Doesnt make any sense to me.
