Default Does Rick's Header have useable gains?

From what I read on the site, this header gains low-mid hp, lose high hp?

Isn't the high end where you want hp? Why would you be below vtec anyways?
It says that hp trails off at about 7600. Isn't this with an AP1? So from 7600-9000 it just trails off? How can that be good. What about on an AP2?

Looks like a great header, and I hear such good things about the Mugen. Yet don't see what is so good about the two... If you are in "go fast" mode you will be about 6000rpm

Whatever you do,do buy DC.!!!
Check with Jeff or Rick,to clarify.
It makes H.P.in the midrange, from what I understand, and trails off,but does not lose in the high range.
Not sure where, but I read something, about that dyno run, they had to switch dyno,or something,....

Everything I read about Rick's header is such a great review. But I am just trying to understand if where the hp gains are is a good thing. At higher rpms would you actually be a little bit slower?

I think when they say taper off they mean there are no more gains but its not that you lose hp.

"But I am just trying to understand if where the hp gains are is a good thing"

Any HP gain is a good thing as long as there is no lose which I don't believe is the case

I heard it looses some power up top and gains mid range. Mid range I think is great for around town, but when you racing your in the top end the whole time so that where I would want my gains. Thats why Iw ould go with j's racing.

I read that too. I'm sure by now they've had the chance to test out a before and after on the same dyno though, or at least someone else has done an independent before and after dyno test. The header has been out for over a year now, right?

Do a search, there is a dyno print out. I believe it was in the group buy page.
