Default Typical Gains with DC Header???

Lets say hypothetically, someone has a bone stock S2000, and they were to add a DC Header. How much HP increase would u see? Would 10hp be asking too much? Anyone have dynos?
Thanks

I dont know for sure but you could search. I think it was 2-3HP PEAK but the people who have the headers say you can feel a difference regardless of what the dyno says. I plan on getting one due to the low price.

You might gain around 10hp somewher around mid range but peak definitely not.

Headers are mainly beneficial for mid range. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Spoon Headers apparently make some good gains after 7000rpm...and apparently makes car pulls hard all the way to redline...

I heard the DC Sports header gives you next to nothing.

Will someone with experience/ incite on this part please post up. I have the DC header for the S, but have not installed it because I heard there was little/ no gain. I have had the part in my basement for three months.

I don't have any experience, per se, but I do remember reading a thread about this before: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=27362 I haven't seen any other dyno's with the DC Header, so its hard to say if Shingles case is an anomaly.

you'd have to do a search but there was a thread about this a long time ago.

the dc header made absolutely no difference on the dyno. however, it was lighter than the oem part and nicer looking so if that's important than there you go.

Here is my experience with headers. I put an aftermarket header on my S2000 and lost power. I put a DC Sports header on my Integra and gained insignificant power <1 HP. I put a set of Hedmans on my 289 Hi-Po and gained 22 HP. Others have posted problems passing emissions after installing a thin wall header due to heat loss to the Catalytic converter, although I have no personal experience with this issue. In my experience, adding an aftermarket exhaust manifold will give you visual pleasure (if you leave off the heat shield) and maybe save a few pounds. It's not/not going to make significant performance increases.
