I'm trying to decide what color I should get and now it's between silverstone and rio yellow. I'm not an attention whore and I used to actually try not draw any attention to myself, but now I couldn't careless either way. This is kind of silly but from a scale of 1-10 how would you rate both yellow and silverstone in terms of attention grabbing, considering the fact that the S2000 is already an attention grabbing car. Is there that much of a difference between yellow and silverstone in terms of attention grabbing

It really depends where you live. For me, I don't get too many heads turned just because everyone where I live drive a lot nicer cars than me. But yellow would definitely get you attention not only from people, but from the 5.0

Im in boondocks of East Tennessee and it turns A LOT of heads. The Fed Ex lady on Friday got out of her truck at a red light and asked me if I was single and rich.

I'll have to give this some really serious thought for a while. Fascinating question.

I think yellow stands out. It makes the S stand out among S'es.

Kinda like a premium vs. super premium spirt.

You can have a shot of Jack Daniels, or a shot of Gentleman Jack.

Only in this case, the price is the same.

I rate it at about 7. 2 being a taurus or trailblazer, 8 being a corvette conv, 9 being a porsche 911, and 10 being the Lambos/exotics.

I get a comment or two a week using it as a DD. The other guys must be pretty easy on the eyes if the ladies are walking thru traffic to comment on it. I haven't had any on the road comments As for yellow, I never would have picked one if I was buying new, but the used S2000 I bought is yellow. I like it better than any of the other colors now that I have had it awhile. The metalic yellow looks really sharp on the car.
