Does the S2000 still get looks?
Do people still stare at you/the car when you're driving, getting gas, stopped at lights, etc? I know I still stare at them, but was wondering what your experiences have been recently. Does it happen once a day? Once a week?
People stare at my car at the light, especially with the top down i get twice the attention, i dont rev the car or anything just normal driving, i cant stop staring at the car and i own the car myself...haha

I went to a hardware store once and came out and this old guy was circling my car looking at it. When he found out I was walking back to it he just walked off like nothing happened haha.
I was at my gf's house about 2 weeks ago and heard some teenagers walking by my car. I looked out the window to see if they were going to damage it or something but one of the girls was like "this is a nice car!" and checked it out for a lil. Then they walked by my gf's 1.8t Audi A4 and we tried to see if they said anything to her car. They didn't say anything.

I get compliments pretty plenty here. Probably because they don't see our cars all year round in Chicago. Mostly from the older folks complimenting because the youngins are just to full of themselves to say anything. But you see them staring in awe.
I used to get looks from people from time to time in Manhattan, though not very often.
But it seems like I get a lot more of that in Asia, probably because S2000s(especially 04+ models) are quite rare here. I get a lot of weird looks from people who drive 350Zs/Fairladies.
On the side note, I was filling up petrol the other day, and a 6-year old kid (or maybe 8 at most???) was walking on the sidewalk with his mom. Then suddenly the kid asked her mom (quite loadly, in Chinese), "MOM!!! That car looks a like a toy!!!! Is that a real car? Does that car really move?"
