Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a new 2003 Spa Yellow S. The car doesn't have any extras on it. The sales manager at the dealership told me that their invoice is $29,789, and that they can't sell it for any less than that. Does $30,200-$30,500 + TT&L sound like a good deal? Or should I look elswhere? This is in Dallas, TX by the way.

If I was you, I would wait until the 2004s and see what their engine mods will drive like. But, time may be an issue for you also.

That's a pretty good deal man. I'm right down the road near Waco and that's what our dealer is selling them for. I think the cheapest I've seen and 03 go for is 29,500 or 30,000. If you want to know what invoice is check out kbb.com...you can see if he's telling you the truth.

While waiting is a good option, wont the prices for 03's go up?

If you like the current model, i wouldnt let the 04 get in the way. Go for it!

Prices for the 03 probably won't go up. They should stay about the same or even go down depending on the markets response to the 04 model.

BTW I know you can still find some 02 models (brand new) on the lots in Texas have you seen any of those?

Thanks for the responses guys. I haven't seen any new '02s, but there probably are still some around (if you find any, let me know). What I'd heard about the '04s I didn't really like, but that's still all speculation I guess. If you guys think there will still be plenty of '03s around by September-October though, I might just wait; that way I could see about the '04s and get a better price. I'll have to think about some more. Thanks again!
