its really hard to tell with the noise from the intake...but if you are referring to the gentle "tapping" noise...that sounds like normal valvetrain noise to me...

TCT noise is much more pronounced. it sounds like a deck of cards in the spokes of a bicycle and usually make the noise after a warm/hot start.

thats clicking/rattling noise in the above video is a bad TCT

PM "Billman250" hes replaced quite a few TCTs on other s2000s. its about $120 part and a 20 minute job to replace it.

Its making a similiar sound of a bad TCT, but it doesnt seem loud enough. I agree with the above, about it possibly being loud valvetrain noise.

 

Hmmm...I guess i'll just wait till mine starts making this noise (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwFVZADoyx0) before I change the tensioner.
