Does your rearend wiggle when you shift?
Whenever I shift at around 8K-9K from 1st to 2nd my rearend always get wiggly and I never get tire either. It's kinda scary sometimes cause it feels like you're going to loose it and go straight into a wall. Is anyone else experiencing this? I suspected it might be improper tire pressure but I have 32psi equally around and checked it numerous times. My guess is that somethings wrong with my lsd, maybe it's not balanced/set correctly. My car's only 3 months old so what could be wrong? Or maybe I just shift slow, but I don't think that's the reason why I don't get tire either....
Quick question: Unfortunately, I've hit the rev limiter like 7-10 times in 1st and 2nd gear because I wasn't paying attention to the tach.
What are the long term damage this might cause...
P.S. I'm thinking about adding a tach but that's kinda ricey for our cars IMO. All I want is something that'll signal when to shift. Any ideas???

A certain amount of rear end waggle is going to happen when you are applying that much power to the rear wheels and suddenly take it away when you shift; obviously it's no different than lifting the throttle. As long as you're not doing it during a turn, you should be OK...
I don't really understand your second question; what do you think that big rainbow display with the "9" at the right side of it is, if not a tach?

I don't have the time to run through the search results, but I just recently saw a post where some one made some dash mods and had a picture of a shift light. It is available if you want it. This thread had pictures and said you could set the RPMs at which the light comes on. Check the Gallery Forum, maybe.

The rearend of my car wiggles when shifting while in a turn. The reason is because the weight distribution changes as you let off the throttle (rear lightens) and get back on the throttle (rear squats). Be very careful -- in extreme cases, lifting the throttle in a tight turn can cause trailing-throttle oversteer.
